Our Approach

Our personalized approach is tailored to the individual needs of you and your baby. Starting with getting to know each other, we discuss your pregnancy and birth story and how that fits in with your infant feeding goals. We perform a comprehensive assessment, including assessments of baby, mom, and a breastfeeding session. Working together, we develop an individualized care plan that will help you and your baby reach your goals.

IBCLC

The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners provides unmatched oversight of lactation consultants around the world. To become a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Angie participated in intensive study, including over 1000 hours of hands-on practice, mentorship at Dr. Jack Newman's Clinic and mentorship at Public Health Sudbury and District.

Education

Graduating from Laurentian University's Francophone Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Angie went on to pursue a masters in nursing through Laurentian, with a focus on the Experiences of Breastfeeding for the Women in Temiskaming.
In 2011, Angie was successful in obtaining her IBCLC and has been proud to support families in the Temiskaming District ever since.

In 2013, Angie was awarded the Sylvia Segal Award of Excellence for outstanding contributions in the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding in the community.
